The Center for Materials Science is an interdisciplinary group devoted to research and instruction in materials science. It includes participants from the departments of: Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics and Statistics, Physics and Astronomy, and Technology Systems. The Center is a charter member of the Ohio Materials Network (MatNet), which is a state-wide collaboration of materials researchers and characterization and synthesis facilities that can be utilized by all participants.
